Join Jully Black, Rise Ashen, Radio Radio, Bear Witness and SAMPRADAYA Dance Creations for an exceptional one-night only event celebrating Canada's 1967 and 2017 anniversaries.

6717 is a special event celebrating the breadth, originality, and intensity of the arts in Canada. This  90 minute performance draws together leading contemporary artists from across Canada to perform an exciting repertoire inspired by Canada’s 1967 and 2017 anniversaries, and the National Film Board’s collection of Canadian film.

6717 is part of the 150!Canada Conference, an initiative of the Institute of Public Administration of Canada (IPAC) and MASS LBP, and proudly sponsored by the Royal Bank of Canada. On March 11-12, three hundred delegates — public servants, business, arts and community leaders — will gather at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa to start imagining and planning for Canada’s 150th anniversary in 2017.

6717 concludes the first day of the 150!Canada Conference. 300 free tickets have been made available to the public.

** Passes to 6717 are included for all delegates to the 150!Canada conference. Please do not register for a 6717 tickets unless you need additional tickets for your guests.

MASS LBP and IPAC are proud to bring together two eminent partners to create this night celebrating the arts and honouring the 1967 and 2017 anniversaries.

The National Arts Centre (NAC) raised its curtains for the first time in 1969. Created by the Parliament of Canada as a Centennial project during the 1960s, the NAC has become Canada's foremost showcase for the performing arts

Today, the NAC works with countless artists, both emerging and established, from across Canada and around the world, and collaborates with scores of other arts organizations across the country.

The National Film Board of Canada (NFB) produces and distributes bold and distinctive social issue documentaries, auteur animation, alternative drama and innovative digital content that provide the world with a unique Canadian perspective. Since the NFB’s founding in 1939, it has created over 13,000 productions and won over 5,000 awards, including 12 Oscars and more than 90 Genies.
